How to Make a Spray Bottle That Works in Any Orientation

Olena Loun How To, DYI, Hacks

Did you notice that spray bottles work well only when the end of the suction tube is submerged in the liquid? So, if you hold the bottle in a tilted or horizontal position, a sprayer might not work. How do you make a spray bottle that works in any orientation?

This DIY life hack will change that. Jason Poel Smith, a self-described “Inventor, Maker, Hacker, Tinker, and occasional Mad Genius” from instructables.com figured out a simple modification that will let a spray bottle function in any orientation. Cleaning is going to be easier.

In the video, you will see a step-by-step instructions on how to modify a bottle, so it will work in any direction:

  1. Twist off the top
  2. Cut the hard plastic tube 1/2 inch from the top
  3. Overlay a flexible plastic tube
  4. Weigh down the flexible tube with metal nuts

I wish I could come up with this brilliant DYI myself…
